Mixing Immersive Live Album
ARK360 was commissioned to produce an immersive mix of Liam Gallagher’s live MTV Unplugged album, transporting the listener from their home to the front row of Hull City Hall.
An early project in the 360RA catalogue, we were eager to demonstrate what the format was capable of. Working closely with the label and original mix engineer, we set out to enhance the sense of live-ness, bringing in additional ambience mics, and employing spatial panning made possible through 360RA technology.
We were thrilled to bring a whole new audience into the live space that wouldn’t have had access to the experience otherwise.
